//New for 2017

The programme is almost complete and will appear on this website soon for you to download and plan your festival fun. Programmes will also be available in local shops and Visit Scotland office. They will also be a schoolbag drop and all families of primary and nursery children should receive a copy.
The Oban Times will also feature the programme in their edition out on Thursday 16 November.

New for 2017
New for 2017 are the food competitions.
The Clootie Dumpling has gone national with the support of the SFMTA and entrie forms are in already.
There is a new shortbread competiton this year just for locals – who will be walking off with the trophies this year?

Once again we will focus on giving and local charities will benefit from events held over the 10 days. A new Grotto in Rockfield Hut 1 will give everyone the opportunity to give to people less fortunate at a time of year when we all receive so much. This event is supported by Mary’s Meals and the Salvation Army Shoebox Appeal.

Shop Windows
The Festival theme this year is ‘Something Old Something New’ and we hope the local shops will decorate their windows as usual to brighten up the street. Windows should be ready for the start of the festival on Friday 17th November. Judging this year will be done by you, the public so be sure to look carefully and decide on your favourite.
Information on how to vote will be in the Oban Times.
