As the festive season approaches, Oban prepares to welcome back one of its most cherished musical traditions. The Finale Concert, a highlight of the Oban Winter Festival, promises an evening of unforgettable performances, rich Gaelic heritage, and joyful celebration — all taking place at the iconic Corran Halls.
This year’s concert brings together a stellar lineup of Scotland’s finest musicians, each renowned in their field, performing in a unique collaboration created especially for the festival. Audiences can expect a vibrant showcase of modern Gaelic music that honours its traditional roots while embracing contemporary expression. The atmosphere is always electric, and with whispers of surprise guests joining the stage, the night is sure to be full of magic.
The concert will be held on Sunday 21st December 2025, with doors opening at 7pm and the performance beginning at 7.30pm. It’s a seated event, with tickets priced at £30 — and given the popularity of previous years, early booking is strongly recommended. Tickets are available in person from ALBA Artshop on Albany Street, or online via TicketSource.
This year, the event is proudly sponsored by the Oban Bay Hotel, whose support helps make this extraordinary celebration possible. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the holidays, the Finale Concert is the perfect way to begin your Christmas festivities — a gathering of music, community, and seasonal spirit that captures the heart of Oban.
