Congratulations to double winners, Grants of Taynuilt.

Thank you very much for entering this year’s Haggisfest.

Returning for the first time since 2019, the Golden Haggis Award saw haggis makers from all over Scotland fighting it out in the cask room at Oban Distillery for the coveted title.

The judges in the 2022 Golden Haggis Awards were local chefs – John McNulty from Etive Restaurant and David Anderson from Number 17.

Members of the public had the chance to taste and cast a vote in the People’s Choice Award. The results from this year’s event were as follows:-

Winner: Grants of Taynuilt
Runner Up: Forsyths’ of Peebles

Winner: Grants of Taynuilt
Runners up in the People’s Choice were:- McCaskies, Wemyss Bay.

For the interest of those who cast votes the numbers in the Peoples’ Choice related to the following haggis makers.
