The Oban Winter Festival Window Wanderland is an event for EVERYONE…. all ages and all abilities, and it is COMPLETELY FREE to join in!

If you live in Oban we would love it if you’d like to join in the fun and dressing up your window, or multiple windows from the 17th – 20th of November

The 2025 theme is yet to be announced – watch this space! ” This community – based event is all about fun and community. Whether you want to decorate on your own, or collaborate with a neighbor, the whole block of flats or involve a whole street – it is entirely up to you! If you have a favourite book or film, or sea creature you can do that too…. create your design, out of tissue paper, cardboard, make silhouettes or draw with chalk paint pens… it’s really up to you.

We’ll be sharing some ideas with you and we plan to hold some creative workshop sessions throughout the community where you can come along for some inspiration, or to design your own window display or collaborate with others to create your window displays.

Between Monday 17th to Thursday 20th of November simply pop a lamp directed at your window display, or switch your room lights on to bring your display to life, for everyone to discover & enjoy between 6pm & 9pm.
